Although born into a slightly later music scene, Johnny Crossley has been playing guitar and singing Rock’n Roll since his very early teens and to put it simply, it’s what he was destined to do.  His professional career now spans many years during which time he has played in a majority of the most prominent Rock’n Roll venues up and down the country as well as countless clubs and theatres.

In the past, when fronting his own successful band, he was often found performing at events alongside many of the 60’s top named groups such as The Searchers, Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Fortunes or The Swinging Blue Jeans.  Johnny has always shown a natural love and feel for the music of an era way beyond his years but even though he is an accomplished Rockabilly guitarist himself, his greater talent lies with his vocal ability and he seems to naturally emulate many of the artists he so greatly respects. These include legends such as Elvis, Cliff, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent and others but probably due to his parent’s influence during childhood, top of the list has to be Billy Fury.

The music, the style, the moves and mannerisms all seem effortless and Johnny shows a true affinity with the man himself … and Billy Meets Cliff provides the perfect, solid platform from which Johnny can launch his amazing portrayal.

And to relax when not working, being a true Rock’n Roller at heart, Johnny can often be found at local Rock’n Roll venues where he more than holds his own on the dancefloor.

He was born to Rock’n Roll!
